Prayer for New Fervor

My first Love,
Burn within me.
You Who are the same today
as You were then.
Welcome me into your Way.
Stretch me from east to west, from beginning to end,
In memory of You.
Help me to think of you always,
Twenty-four hours a day,
Every moment, living with You.
Like in the beginning,
Only now, and forever.
Regenerated in the stillness of Your Love,
Real and honest, giving You space,
Constantly,
To live in me,
And me in you.
Oh my first Love,
My dear Jesus,
One with the Father,
And the Holy Spirit,
You are my Love.
Teach me to walk
Your way of the Cross,
To be radical.
To stay with you always,
Especially when I am weak.
Help me to burn with desire,
To bring New Life to the world.
